Thank you for filing this ticket. We're having a hard time understanding how many people were actually negatively affected by this change. If you were affected by the backwards incompatible release to the main package repositories, could you please update ticket 16729 with any impact data you have and also vote up the ticket? The Puppet core team is currently using up-votes as a rough guide to how many users are affected by particular issues. Finally watching the ticket will help ensure you get up to date information as it becomes available.
