first "apt-get install puredyne-puredata" complained it was missing pd-pdp, so i went ahead and installed that, which in turn got pd installed, but only the most basic version, no external libs which i assume i would get if i managed to have "puredyne-puredata" in there. how do i proceed?

if you want to get the libs you need use sudo aptitude install then the tab key which will autocomplete all you options
