hi p:d list,

what's the best way to make my p:d usb stick open up a Pd patch right
after booting up?

If you just need a simple startup, then:
- make a home-rw persistence (see previous mail).

ok, i created an extra partition

mkfs.ext3 -L "home-rw" /dev/sdb3

so i have BOOT (fat16), DATA (fat32) and home-rw (ext3) now.
on home-rw i see a locked lost+found folder.

but there is no persistance. script is gone, i get the xface4 tipps again.

- add your pd command to the autostarted app list of xfce (check the
  menu)

You might want to make a shell script and call it instead.
You could then pass more commands at once (jackd stuff for example).
