don't worry :)
feel free to post any kind of questions

ok
A word of advice 1st, the documentation for the liveHD and the liveHD
features are still very experimental, and until the day that they will
be linked directly from the main user documentation page (right now it's
only linked from the dev lounge), until then, things can change or not work
as expected, and we will tend to not give support for these because it's
just not ready yet :)

For example, the liveHD features has been tested on ext3 and it works
fine, but we can't test on NTFS (no windows around) so it's difficult
for us right now to see if there is a problem on our side, on the
documentation side or if a user is not doing things right. (if someone
who knows GNU/Linux well enough want to debug the dual boot windows
documentation, that would be helpful btw).

About the missing hda1, this is probably because you are using miso
(stable version) and not leek_and_potato (development version).
Leek and Potato is due to be released around mid-october (one month
delay, sorry guys...) and it should be easier to use this version if you
are interested in the liveHD features.

probably because you are using miso, or that you are not root

:)

If you feel confident doing the repartitioning, then I would suggest to
do it, but then you will have to do quite some manual work to do, cause
things won't be configured and ready to use like on the
liveCD/DVD/HD/USB.

Up to you, if you're motivated by learning GNU/Linux, then it's a good
thing, if you just want a quick and reliable GNU/Linux desktop with all
the p:d applications, then just wait a little bit more that leek and
potato is completed and use the liveCD until then.

hope that helps!
