yep this should work. try following the instructions for making the USB
install, then restart the computer holding some key, i think its the apple
key or something similar. google will tell :)

@rob: apple abandoned bios entirely for their newer machines, in favor of
EFI

if you want to permanently install p:d on your machine, you might want to
take a look at rEFIt http://refit.sourceforge.net/
