is there a browser plugin for openjdk too? thats important for some of
functionality of processing, especially when developing browser-based stuff.
will it be enough to just use the jre or does the whole jdk need to be
installed?

I don't have time to test it out right now nor to change the package but
will do once its clear that everything works. one plus I see is space:
openjdk-6-jre + dependencies seem to be smaller than sun-jre by ~20Mb
(uncompressed)
