i used killall -9 aptitude synaptic apt-get, and do sudo
aptitude update.but still doesn't work. it said :
E: Could not get lock /var/lib/dpkg/lock - open (11 Resource
        temporarily unavailable)
E: Unable to lock the administration directory (/var/lib/dpkg/),
        is another process using it?

i,m only using 1 terminal. so, i don't know which process..

are you on the sudoers list?
can you try to log in as root then try?
it sounds like a permissions problem

hmm.. have you another instance of aptitude running in
        another
               terminal?

               try

               killall -9 aptitude synaptic apt-get

first, then try running sudo aptitude update

should be something simple to sort out and maybe mailing is a
        slow
           way to sort this out
maybe if you drop into he IRC chat room we will be able to
        help you
           more quickly
in case you are unfamiliar with irc - you need to use a client
software such as irssi or xchat and enter these details:

           #pure:dyne on irc.goto10.org <http://irc.goto10.org>
        <http://irc.goto10.org>*

but by all means keep mailing to the maillist and we can help
        you here

hopefully you will be up running soon :)

           cheers
