Hi Loz,

it could be that the settings in your /etc/apt/sources.list are not set
right. you can't install lame manually unfortunately but need to install the
proper package for the dependencies to get resolved. could you post us the
contents of your /etc/apt/sources.list so we can see if its that problem?
basically, it should include an entry for the debian-multimedia repo here

http://debian-multimedia.org/

did you follow these docs here?

http://code.goto10.org/projects/puredyne/wiki/DocInstallSystem#Installingpure:dyneasmainsystem

especially look at the repository settings to include debian-multimedia.
