Yeah, it detects:

ymfpci Yamaha Corporation YMF-744B [DS-1S Audio Controller] (rev 02)
legacy Probe legacy ISA (non-PnP) chips

When I select <OK> for the first one it does all the configuration stuff and
tells me ALSA is ready to use, but I still get no sound, and programs like
Audacity, Pd, and the GNOME ALSA Mixer don't show any available devices.
