You might be dispapointed here, after some long discussions and various
tests, we decided to move to Ubuntu as well. The new Puredyne will be a
stripped down version of Ubuntu with our kernel, our extra packages and
still using Debian Live scripts.

Debian/Ubuntu are good distros for audio, and to some extend any distro,
as long as software is carefully chosen and tested. We use Puredyne for
professional projects and we're quite picky on stability and
performance.

Nothing official, but the packages we've ported to Ubuntu so far have
been also built for amd64 architecture, our live distro script builder
is also ready to build amd64 live images, so it's getting there but we
need testers and people willing to help fixing packages that have some
issues with amd64. (same for lpia plateform)

Do you know how to package for Debian/Ubuntu?

idle on irc.goto10.org #puredyne it's the best place to get started.
