so as per the discussion of a while ago, I compiled a RT kernel that
works on intel-macs (I'm on an mbp 3.1 santa rosa), the pure one didn't
work for me,
there's still some drivers etc that are not really needed in there, but
it works very well, with wifi etc. only hitch is you have to install the
nvidia binary drivers if you want full support (as usual).
I compiled 2.6.30, from the debian backports (more recent kernels seem
better adapted to intel macs)
how shall i share this? can I put the image somewhere, the conf file?
i'll also try making some docs for intel mac in general on the wiki.

remember, I'm a complete noob at all this linux-stuff, so don't shoot me
if I did something silly :)

btw home-compiled kernels fly! you can feel it right away when booting...
