doc would be really helpful for a start! As for the kernel config, karsten has made a new kernel as well but I don't know if he put the config on our SVN yet. In a near future, we're going to switch from SVN to a distributed version control system, in which case it will be really easy for you to contribute and submit patches (and we'll explain how). Right now, best is to ask karsten... and if needed we can give you access to our SVN so you can store your config file. As for kernel testing, we still need to come up with a routine that can be documented to test varous apps and see how the system behaves (xruns and oops).
