Hi all, Done something bad to my main home comp puredyne install.
Very foolishly updated, having not done so for ages. It's a fairly new install, probably sometime in Feb/March this year. "The display server has been shut down about 6 times in the last 90 seconds: it is likely that something bad is going on. Waiting for 2 minutes before trying again on display :0." Eek! After hitting 'ok', I get to 'JbDesk login:' To be honest I did it about 2 months ago and tried to fix it myself then, but I've had so much on over the last couple of months I/we've just used laptops. It's time to sort this though. Really don't want to reinstall as there's stuff on there I want. All good wishes, Jb
