Thats what it does, although one still has to log-out and back in for
the desktop to change the language. It also installs all the packages
for spell-checking etc, which at the same time is its biggest caveat:
it might pull dependencies that are unwanted (i.e. openoffice packages
for example). I agree that this is great way for people to get the
desktop to sport their language. In or Out?
