Hi,
I recently installed Puredyne on an older computer, but had some
problems running Pure Data. It wasn't reading audio signals properly. I
never listened to the audio output, since I was only using PD as a
trigger. The input signal was irratic and stuttery. The rest of the
system worked fine.
After removing Pure data and all of its' the extra packages I tried a
nigthly build of pd-extended for karmic. This worked without problems.
I've never tested audio input on my newer machine (I've replaced the
packages here too), but audio output on PD seemed to work fine at least
when I tried it out.
Anyone else had problems of the sort?
The computer in question has one of the first versions of AMD sempron
and the audio device is an Audio Delta L1010.
