For debian I use live-helper which is a great tool. For Ubuntu it's in

Ah right, I just saw it after sending my email. Wow so you guys have
even managed to use debian-live for a Ubuntu live-cd? Does the cd also
has an installer?
I'm really interested on how you did that. Is there a place for gaining
and sharing knowledge about that, or are some people experts on this and
who I can contact?
