The puredyne distro is just amazing! I have teacher training students
which I want to give a version of the distro without PD and such, but
with some other programs, and I thought I could use the
make-live-device.sh script to make a USB of an installed system, but
it doesn't work. I have earlier tried to use remastersys to make a
tailored distro, but it always makes e.g. rosegarden hang, and jack
never releases its hold on the soundcard and so forth when booted .
This is a problem which your iso image written to USB does not have
so I am wondering how you make your iso?
hi Ketil, i have put some time on similir issues, here are the notes
of the process:

is not exactly what you are asking for. that as i understand is
something i asked before:
making a liveUSB out of a running system.. similar to what remastersys
does that keeps all your current configurations in place.
anyhow, hope this helps.

Great!
I will try this and when I meet another barrier, I hope I can continue
asking!?
