ooch ... that's a bit more tricky than I thought then,... I did not know you need a newer kernel... Anybody tried to backport a kernel package via a PPA? Otherwise, you could always installed Puredyne 9.11, then do a full install and either upgrade to Lucid or do some pinning karmic/Lucid to select only a few more recent packages. a. > > cheers, > _y > > > > On 06/02/10 11:20, Aymeric Mansoux wrote: > >reminder: If you can find out which libffado works for you, we could try > >to backport it in the Puredyne PPA. > > > >a > > > > > >gusano said : > >>> hi Hamish > >>> > thanks for your help. > >>> I have a Texas Instruments pc card bus controller where I use a > >>> pcmcia/FW card (I don't have any expresscard slot). > >>> my only trouble is that it stopped working with last p:d release.. > >>> > but now that I found out that with a certain > >>kernel/libffado it's > >>> working, I'm gonna (try to) find a way to have those in pure:dyne.. > >>> or maybe just the new FW stack first.. > >>> > anyway my hardware lost compatibility with c&c > > > > --- > [email protected] > http://identi.ca/group/puredyne > irc://irc.goto10.org/puredyne -- http://su.kuri.mu --- [email protected] http://identi.ca/group/puredyne irc://irc.goto10.org/puredyne
