ooch ... that's a bit more tricky than I thought then,... I did not know
you need a newer kernel...

Anybody tried to backport a kernel package via a PPA?

Otherwise, you could always installed Puredyne 9.11, then do a full
install and either upgrade to Lucid or do some pinning karmic/Lucid to
select only a few more recent packages.
