Maybe can we implemented solaris zfs/iscsi commstar. They are a lot of free/opensource implementation of opensolaris. (napp-it,OmniOS,...). I don't known the state of zfs freebsd and zfs on linux seem to be more a hack. I think that reuse the nexenta plugin should be easy, nexenta api is just a mapping to zfs commands + commstar commands. ----- Mail original ----- De: "Michael Rasmussen" <m...@datanom.net> À: "Dietmar Maurer" <diet...@proxmox.com>, pve-devel@pve.proxmox.com Envoyé: Dimanche 19 Mai 2013 11:03:29 Objet: Re: [pve-devel] Fw: Generic ZFS rest API On Sun, 19 May 2013 05:49:28 +0000 Dietmar Maurer <diet...@proxmox.com> wrote: > > What do you guys think? > > ZFS still has a strange License? > You are right but if we use ssh as a means of communication then we should be fine since we then will not do any actual use of the code base. -- Hilsen/Regards Michael Rasmussen Get my public GnuPG keys: michael <at> rasmussen <dot> cc http://pgp.mit.edu:11371/pks/lookup?op=get&search=0xD3C9A00E mir <at> datanom <dot> net http://pgp.mit.edu:11371/pks/lookup?op=get&search=0xE501F51C mir <at> miras <dot> org http://pgp.mit.edu:11371/pks/lookup?op=get&search=0xE3E80917 -------------------------------------------------------------- Absinthe makes the tart grow fonder. _______________________________________________ pve-devel mailing list pve-devel@pve.proxmox.com http://pve.proxmox.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pve-devel _______________________________________________ pve-devel mailing list pve-devel@pve.proxmox.com http://pve.proxmox.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pve-devel
