You don't _have_ to reset the failcounter. In your szenario, I think,
it's more of a cosmetic issue right now.
Just give more RAM to the machine or find out why it's consuming
(too?) much.
I'm not really sure about this -> but I think if you power down the
virtual machine and start it again, the failcounter is being resetted
anyway.
