I don't think this could be an option. There's only 4 x 4TB drives in storage, and this solution leaves me only 3 disks that I can passthru to virtualized OmniOS because 1 disk will be used for host OS (Linux).
I guess better option is to fall-back to LVM over iSCSI setup to replace ZFS. Lots of features will be missed of course in this case.. It is now too late to replace 10GiGE nics, so have to live with what I have.
