Hi there

Simple question: Is there any way to connect a Proxmox Ceph cluster with a
Hyper-V or VMWare server??

Define "connect"..

manage vmware/hyper-v/proxmox hosts in the proxmox web interface : no not possible.

have them connected to subnets where the hosts are pingable, and copy vm image files over the network:  yes possible.

configure ceph in proxmox as nfs, smb or iscsi  gateway for hyper-v or vmware to consume storage from : yes possible, but will require some cli usage.

migrare vm's between proxmox and vmware and hyper-v: no, not in a interface. you can do a manual migration, where you move a disk image over and set up a new vm on the other platform using the old disk ofcourse.

what did you have in mind?

kind regards
