Hi Peng,
This looks a bit like a hostname resolving issue, since you can ping
the server from everywhere but pvfs2-ping fails from client1 and
client2. It looks like your tabfile has server1 as the hostname.
Are you able to run: host server1 successfully from client1 and client2?
