Hi, I think I know what the problem is look at the output from pvfs2-ping: (3) Initializing each file system found in tab file: /etc/fstab... [E 16:05:10.117316] *** msgpairarray_completion_fn: msgpair failed, noretry: No route to host[E 16:05:10.117445] PINT_server_get_config failed: No route to host /mnt/pvfs2: FAILURE!Failure: could not initialize at least one of the target file systems.
/etc/fstab is not a good file for using as pvfs2tab file. If you want to have a global file you should use /etc/pvfs2tab With /etc/fstab as you can see it tries to look up the host /mnt/pvfs2 which is clearly unreachable.
