That was my assumption, too; but why don't {csh|tcsh} do it in one atomic
step, as {sh|ksh|bash} do? Go figure?
Anyway, I doubt we'd have time to try a beta-1.4, if the real thing will be
coming out early next week. But once it's officially out, I'll see whether
we can move this somewhere reasonably high on the priority list.
