We did definitely make some fixes to the append problem after 1.3.2,
even though previous emails suggest it was fixed. (See: http://

Looks like Mark's append tests succeed (behave correctly) with
current CVS on 2.6.11-1-686-smp.

Since 1.3.2 we have indeed fixed several append bugs. I'm going to
release 1.4.0 "soon" (probably early next week). If you are able to
try out the CVS version of PVFS2, it would be great to know if
2.6.5-7.201-smp still triggers this bug. Otherwise, I'll try to find
one of those machines around here.
