that was the problem!!!.
i'm using pam-ldap and libnss-ldap but i didn't configure it in the servers.
only in the clients.
strangelly with the previous configuration all works ok. only encounter
the problem descrived earlier.
now, with pam-ldap and libnss-ldap configured in the servers and clients,
samba and dovecot are working beatifully!!.
testing for a week or so and moving to production.
