Hi Kshitij,

When you say you are running 'mount -o discard' is that against the local
file system that mounts the SSD block device on the servers or the pvfs2
mount on the client? Based on your mention of SSD I believe you'll want to
mount the local file system on the server with those options.

>From the client mount perspective we don't support the discard option. If
this is what you're interested in could you explain the use case or what the
expected behavior of that functionality would be?
