Look in the configuration file for separate items named "DataStorageSpace"
and "MetadataStorageSpace". If both of these exist, then the version you are
using can support the metadata on a different storage device by changing
these settings.

Hope this helps,
Elaine

Subject: [Pvfs2-users] metadata in seperate directory?

Hi,

I wonder if there is a way to configure PVFS2 to save metadata on a
different directory/storage device. We're thinking it may boost
performance if we can save metadata on a local SSD.

Thanks,
