Henk, If all you are looking for is the fuse client, you should be able to add "--disable-usrint" and "--enable-fuse" when you do the configure.
If you want the user POSIX and stdio libraries, it looks like you'll have to make some minor fixes to the usrint code so that it compiles on MacOSX.
