i'm running the svn version, for quite some time before 0.20 was
released and it worked pretty well with a PVR-250 and pvr-usb2. i'm
also running ubuntu 6.06.

basically, i followed the instruction here:
http://hyams.webhop.net/mythtv/myth_ubuntu.html

with some tips from this discussion thread at ubuntu forums:
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=186747

as mike mentioned, i have the pvr-usb2 set-up as of type PVR-x50 in
mythtv-setup.

hope this helps.
