I upgraded to 8.10 when it came out and all was well. A few weeks ago the weekly updates updated the kernel from 2.6.27-7 to 2.6.27-8. This broke my wireless nic and my PVRUSB2 setup. I changed grub to boot with the -7 kernel and got working again. Today the update changed the kernel to 2.6.27-10 and broke the PVRUSB2 driver again for me. My wireless NIC works this time so rather than roll back I would like to try to fix it this time to avoid this cycle. :-) All I see when I grep dmesg for pvr is the line: pvrusb2: Unknown parameter `initusbreset' Any idea where I should go from here?
