One more mail and then I'll stop. :) I couldn't resist to test Mike's statement: I moved the firmware somewhere else and then started kaffeine. This is what the log shows then:
tda10048_firmware_upload: waiting for firmware upload (dvb-fe-tda10048-1.0.fw)... usb 2-1: firmware: requesting dvb-fe-tda10048-1.0.fw tda10048_firmware_upload: Upload failed. (file not found?) But - Mike is right. It doesn't matter if it's there. Kaffeine shows the picture... Confused. :S Pietro - try w_scan as Leonardo suggested and play with antennae a bit.
