Ok i've tested it with a fedora core 5 kernel (2.6.16-1.2080_FC5) and it's
working. I've installed the following packages using yum (really i prefer
apt-rpm).

yum install make
yum install gcc
yum install kernel-devel.i686

Just untar the latest snapshots, and do a make. I'll grab the fedora core 4
cds, and do the same.
