Kurt,
This is great. I for one (coming from a Unix, Python background) am
very interested in using Comanche and Swiki (primarily to do Web sites
for small non-profit orgs), but I have to use them on a headless,
remotely colocated Linux box, on which Apache is already installed and
serving 50 some-odd virtual hosts.
So for me to really dig into Squeak profitably, I need it to integrate
w/out too much pain for me into the 'standard' Linux + Apache + MySQL
setup.

Does this include adding new Swikis, i.e., without going through a
reiteration of the configure-locally-re-upload-to-production-server
cycle? Do you have any ideas, suggestions for using ComSwikis with
Apache and virtual hosts?
I'd like to have a Unixy SqueakShell by which, perhaps using
OSProcesses, I could admin Comanche and ComSwikis from the
command-line. Being able to *script* from the Linux side Comanche and
ComSwikis with something like Python (or Perl, TCL, shell, whatever)
would be *the bomb*. :>
Anyway, thanks so much for your notes and script so far. I'll be
trying your setup soon.
Best,
