I was just checking our servers at GaTech and I think reliability is
starting to be really good.
For instance, swiki has been up since 18 May. The last time before then
was 12 April. So, it seems that uptime is more than a month. Swiki is a
Sun Ultra 5 running Solaris.
I think one of those outages might have been a bug fix.
Also, herring has been very stable. The last time it crashed was because
the machine where its XWindow was crashed. Otherwise, it would be up for
well over a month. herring is a fast PC running Linux.
The Macs too have been very stable. We are having more problems with
AppleTalk dropping out and making the server unreachable than having
Squeak crash.
Just thought I'd let you know. Is anybody still experiencing problems?
