Sorry that I didn't have time to reply to this earlier. I would suspect 
that your problem is a Squeak VM problem. Somehow the Squeak for Linux VM 
does not acknowledge daylight savings time. Thus, the times might be 
screwed up.

If that is the case, your problem should probably have gone away already. 
I'm not sure of how to fix this other than fixing the Linux VM.

Squeak is awfully bad at time. I wish somebody would fix it, but nothing 
ever seems to happen on this front.
