I am not convinced by this.

1. An essential part of Swiki-navigation usually is searching (or am I the
only one who does this?). The fact that normal Swiki-pages can also be
edited is absolutely irrelevant regarding navigational purposes.

2. There is no need for a headless image or headless VMs. These are only
needed on computers without X or similar facilities - unlikely that people
are using Web-browsers on such machines.

3. There was never any suggestion that HTML should not be used - this is
what Comanche delivers.

4. Autostarting Comache is not an important issue and providing simple
manual start-scripts is not difficult (I would volunteer to write
appropriate one-liners for Windows and Linux if demand arises.)

Unfortunately the Comanche-search engine seems to be tied to XML and
therefore Comanche would have to be started to deliver HTML. This would add
some complexity and risk to the CDROM project and I am not in charge of the
CDROM. Therefore I will not further argue this matter.

Anyway: Happy new year!

Andreas
