If you upload a powerpoint-file to a swiki-page, it will place a reference
on the end of the page(this choice is default on.)

In edit-view you can move this link to a more proper place on that page.
(See also the wiki-help to create an alias for the filename.ppt )

Clicking on this reference (if you have installed the powerpoint-plugin in
your webbrowser) will download the powerpoint file and open it in
full-window-mode, so you loose the buttonbar of the swiki.
With the mouse you can turn the pages of powerpoint.
With the back button of your webbrowser you step back in the swiki-window.
(works the same for .pdf etc.)

(Jochen, is it possible to force powerpoint just to fill a part of the swiki
window?)

I don't know. If you upload a PowerPoint file and you click on it, does
it open up in the browser? I believe there was a way in PowerPoint to
turn the presentation into a series of GIFs. These could then be
uploaded.

Not yet. I'll ask on the squeak list about MIME type. As far as closer
integration of Swiki with projects, we'll be working on it shortly
(hopefully).

Peace and Luck!
