I just installed ComSwiki 1.1 (Big Time) and am in the process of
transitioning a swiki from Beta 11.

Because of my personal needs, I made a bunch of modifications to my page
templates, buttons, and so on.

When I went to port the stuff in my actions, addresses, and templates
folders, I was in for a shock. The named files have been replaced by a
series of numbered text files! (At least, this is true of the Mac distro
I downloaded.) Now, it appears that these files do the same thing as the
old files, but I'm a bit baffled by the new files.

Presumably, this has been done to make it easier to create automated tools
to customize the swiki (or, at least, this is a wild guess. :) ) However,
I'm not sure I'll be able to do what I want to do with the existing tools,
and I don't mind hacking the page templates or the smalltalk actions by
hand.

For now, I guess I'll stick with Beta 11. In the future, could someone
describe how customization works under the new scheme?

Thanks,

-Eric
