Hello, I downloaded the ComSwiki 1.1 for Linux yesterday. Started it on port 8888. Everything seemed fine. Netscape http://localhost.localdomain:8888/ looked normal. I then benchmarked that page with ab. ab -n1000 -c5 http://localhost.localdomain:8888/ results: (edited) Doc length: 1860 bytes time: 181.500 seconds requests per second: 55.10 the same with the /docs page had requests per second: 14.61 I got 13.33 rps on Apache on a test page with 2 server side includes for header and footer doing an exec spawning python interpreters and loading header.py and footer.py giving results and quiting. This is on a RH 7.1 machine with 256mb ram and a 700mhz Athlon. The ab on Apache's index page for the standard RH rpm of Apache 1.3.19 delivered requests per second: 862.52 ComSwiki isn't nearly what I expected. Did I do something wrong? Do you get better results? Any help greatly appreciated. Jimmie Houchin
