Your strategy should have worked. There could be several problems: 1. If you are transferring by CD, it could be that file/directory names either get cut off or made one case. This is problematic as Swiki looks for case sensitive files. 2. If you are transferring via FTP, you have to transfer all files in binary format or FTP will munge all the ones that it believes to be text files. In particular, Fetch on Macs, will translate what it thinks are text files even in "raw" mode. You have to go into preferences to fix it. Transferring off a Mac is terrible. Your could try using Squeak to ZIP your files and then transfer that. Peace and Luck! Je77
