Hi Naala,
I'm a newbie in swikis myself, but one thing I know you could always do is
pack the whole swiki directory tree on a CD along with all the virtual
machines you can grab from the web.
Then, given you have trouble with the internet connection you could just set
up the swiki where you need it. It can easily run together with the browser
on the same machine.
