I am now introducing a Swiki in the Arts department.
They use it for building knowledge-trees for Architecture, Arts, etc..
We use default-schemes for the classification branches of the tree and a
modified survey-scheme
for hanging in pictures with annotation fields.

If we declare a branch to be an end-node, we change the child-page in that
modified survey-thing.
Creating an leaf on your own, you must edit a new star-link on such modified
survey-main page.

Little wish: is it possible to have a button on the survey page that
initiates that action? (Create a daughter-page of the survey-page with the
survey template?

Little wish2: If you edit this modified survey page again and again, you get
added spaces in your text-boxes. How can I rtepair this?

Observation: If you create a survey page and then upload a file, a
star-hyperlink will be added to the first textbox of your survey form. (I
like this!) But people find it hard to understand that you first must create
a page, fill in some text and save it BEFORE you add a picture to that page.

Big wish:
In my endeavour to change the world in fill-in forms, i was thinking about
the next one:
Educators like to have maps that show popup-information when you hoover
over some area.
To create these, you must use toolkits: Would it not be nice to have a
fill-in form with a grid on it. You put your image under the grid and then
(in edit mode hoover over that image.) In a small window you see your
x/y-coordinates.
When you press on your mouse, this x/y-window fixates and you can move to
the fill-in table on the second part of your edit-page. Fill-in these
coordinates and the information (and/or action-expression?) you want to show
to the user in showview mode. (Hoovering shows the info, clicking activates
like "menu-choices"..)

It seems to me that a "don't send e-mail alerts" check-box might be
useful for addressing both 1) and 2). Are other people interested in that?

As far as 3), you can do that using the swiki browser.

Check out:
http://minnow.cc.gatech.edu/swiki/35
for starting the SwikiBrowser.

Click on refs -- 1st panel
Click on templates (page) -- 2nd panel
Click on editText -- 4th panel

Change "rows=20 cols=70" to something larger.
Save changes (Alt-s).

Done.

Peace and Luck!
