Hi,

I 've been using the swiki (email) alerts for a couple of days now on an
intranet swiki.
It's adding quite a bit of value to swiki's as a collaboration tool!

Virtually, All team members have their MS Outlook open all the time.
We're creating an MS Outlook folder per page swiki page we get notifications
for,
and rules to move swiki alerts from our inboxes to the corresponding MS
Outlook folder.
This way we get a 'gauge' per folder/swiki page indicating number of
changes. Great!!

This is working great now, but, we want more (who doesn't ;-) Or, should I
say, we want 'better'...

I'd like to be able to filter out swiki alerts for any page updates that are
typo corrections rather than content changes.

Providing, next to the alerts text box on the edit of a swiki page, a
'checkbox' saying 'Do not alert the alert subscribers this time.' is just
one simple way to do this.

Before spending time (a lot of?) on trying to understand how the different
classes collaborate in swiki space, I'd like to get some feedback on the
above suggestion for extending swiki.

Much appreciated,
Fred.
