I know I'm new here and shouldn't ask for a totally new transport yet.
But have you ever thought about a Transport which sends News out of RSS-
and Atomfeeds to the users jabber client?
My jabber-client is running whenever I'm online. It would be very
comfortable if i could get the news i want dirctly from my
IM-application. Running a newsreader in background and click on "get
news" every minute is what i do at the moment - but i want my news to
come to me when they're hot - without a single click if possible.
my english is a bit confusing today - sorry.
