Well, I've had previous reports of that... I don't know why Eclipse does this sometimes, but the only solution so far seems to be unistalling previous versions and then installing again... check http://www.fabioz.com/pydev/manual_101_install.html

Yes, I tried restarting, but there's still no update available.  Also, after I unzipped the zip file over my eclipse folder it still says that I'm using 1.0.8.
