Hi Fabio, Yes, I have smart indent turned on, and I'm using Eclipse 3.3.1.1. I tried it with smart indent turned off and tabs behaved the same way. I primarily work on a linux (Suse 10.1) box but I also tried it on WinXP with the same results. I don't think it's an Eclipse problem because I have JSEclipse (javascript editor) installed and the tab key works correctly with it. Thanks for looking into this.
