Strange, that error seems to be related to subversion (and not really pydev). You can try removing it and seeing if then you can install Pydev... Now, as for eclipse 3.3, it's still available in the archived downloads ( http://archive.eclipse.org/eclipse/downloads/index.php ), so, if you're unable to get it to install, that's a 2nd option.
