I am trying to create a PyDev project within eclipse on Fedora Core 10. I open eclipse using a new workspace and then click on File->New->PyDev Project. A PyDev Project creation dialog box appears in which I enter the project name, select Python as the project type, 2.5 for the Grammar version, and through the link near the bottom of the form, I select /usr/bin/python as the interpreter. After clicking on the Finish button, I get an error box: IDEWorkbenchMessages.CreateProjectWizard_errorTitl e Problems encountered while setting project description. Details >> Error configuring nature 'org.python.pydev.pythonNature'. org.apache.xerces.dom.DocumentImpl.getXmlStandalon e()Z At this point, a folder is created in the workspace, but the project does not show up in eclipse until eclipse is restarted. Any suggestions on how to get around this error or methods to find out what is going on is appreciated.
